1/13/09 Henryetta, Oklahoma

We had a longer day on the road today.
Better sleep last night. Yeah. Went into Nashville for me to take a few pictures before we left town. Still don't know how to put them on this blog.

Lots of flat, flat land and so many trucks we lost count. Not much to see on the road today. Elvis wasn't in Memphis so we didn't stop there. Tomorrow we hope to hit Alburquerque, NM. We have decided to head to San Diego first before Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon. Pacific Ocean here we come.

We are in a motel right on the highway tonight and all you can here are the trucks on the road but hopefully we'll be able to sleep. So tired...........

Take care and keep on trucking.

Love, Miss Annie

  1. Hello Anne and Pete! Your blog is very enjoyable!

Anne--you gotta download the pictures from your camera to the computer you're using to post them on your blog; Radio Shack has a USB connecter (a thing that lets u download pictures to any computer) for camera memory cards. Email me at freeman.leet@gmail.com if I can answer any questions!

    Say hello to Area 51!

  2. Congratulations, Grandma! You're halfway through the country. Only 5,000 miles to go before you get back home!

    As for pictures...

    1. Connect the camera to the computer (If any screens pop up after connecting the camera, just ignore them)

    2. Find the "Add Image" button near the top of your posting box and click on it. (It's a little tiny picture of a mountain and sky.)

    3. A pop up window appears. Click "Browse".

    4. Here's where it gets a little complicated. Go to menu in the lower left of the new window. You should find a folder with the name of the camera.

    5. Open that up. There may be a couple more files/folders to open up before you see the pictures that you've taken. Once you're there, double click on the one you want to add.

    6. Once you're back to the "Insert Photo" screen, click "Upload Image".

    That should work!

If not, I'm not very good techie.

    Have fun and sleep well!
    Marc
